Longwall Effects

  006
Dinah Burns and daughter Maggie taking a tour of the James Kinney Farmstead prior to mining. Dinah is a great, great, great granddaughter of Ignatious Burns. Ignatious Burns bought the farm from David Barnes in 1827. He was one of the first people to run the farm as a drovers station before James Kinney bought it in 1852 from George Burns, a son of Ignatious. Notice the mud in the driveway from the heavy equipment which has been operating around the house.
